Wild Brains: The Assembly brings together neurodivergent entrepreneurs, creatives, and changemakers for five days of deep focus, shared learning, and genuine connection led by experienced neurodivergent leaders. Held in the extraordinary Broughton Sanctuary in Yorkshire, this experience is designed to help you level up your business in ways that feel authentic, sustainable, and true to your brain.

Why Wild Brains?

Running your own projects can feel isolating, overwhelming, or like running in circles. Wild Brains: The Assembly is your chance to gather with others like you — to learn, share, and return home with clarity, momentum, and new allies.

  • 1

    Shape your next chapter

Step away from your day-to-day routine and give yourself the space to think bigger about your business, your work, and your impact.

  • 2

    Learn from multiple perspectives

Explore themed days on marketing, content creation, and strategy, guided by neurodivergent mentors who understand that we often need very different approaches.

  • 3

Discover practical tools you can actually use

Walk away with strategies that translate directly into your business—whether that’s building visibility, simplifying systems, or making more aligned offers.

  • 4

    Make the connections that matter

You’ll meet peers who could become collaborators, clients, or simply the support system you’ve been missing. We'll help facilitate connecting you with the people you need to know.

  • 5

Invest in yourself and your work

This isn’t just another business retreat—it’s a rare opportunity to work on your business and yourself, in a supportive, neurodivergent-led environment.

Five days of ideas, strategies, and connections designed to move your business forward — without leaving your values behind.

What to Expect

Themed Learning Days

Each day focuses on a different core area of business — marketing, visibility, strategy, and self-care — so you can see the bigger picture and take practical next steps.

Multiple lenses, real-world examples

From long-form YouTube content to Instagram reels, offline business strategies, and more — you’ll learn from people who are doing it, not just talking about it.

Brain-friendly sessions

Workshops and discussions are designed with neurodivergent needs in mind: clear structure, optional participation, and space for breaks or downtime.

Collaboration time

Not just learning about business — time is built in to apply ideas, brainstorm with others, and leave with action steps you can actually use.

And yes, some joy too!
Because connection and creativity fuel growth, expect opportunities to laugh, move, and celebrate what makes you, and your work, unique.

Is This for You?

While we welcome anyone who identifies as neurodivergent (no proof of diagnosis needed), you’ll get the most from Wild Brains: The Assembly if you are:

  • Running your own business or project — or dreaming of starting one

  • A creative or professional who wants to grow your visibility and impact

  • Someone ready to explore practical strategies alongside peers who understand your challenges

  • Looking for collaboration, accountability, or simply fresh ideas to move forward

  • Eager to align your work with your values, instead of trying to fit into someone else’s mould

If you’ve ever thought “I’d love to grow my business, but I can’t do it the ‘normal’ way” — this retreat is for you.

Our Commitment

We welcome people of all genders, sexualities, ethnicities, ages, body types, faiths (or none), neurotypes, abilities, and backgrounds. Your story, identity and needs matter here. We know that events can sometimes feel exclusionary and we are determined to make sure that The Assembly is welcoming to all. We are actively working to remove barriers and challenge assumptions so that whatever your needs may be, you know you belong in this space.

What You Can Expect

We’ll ask for your pronouns and any access or support needs shortly after registration so we can prepare with care. We also invite you to reach out to discuss these with the team even at the enquiry stage. No query is too small.

  • We aim to make our spaces accessible for different mobility and sensory needs.
  • We have secured funding for a small number of fully sponsored places for those with less financial freedom and are working on securing more.
  • We hold a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination, harassment or hate of any kind.
  • We strive for representation across speakers and content that reflects the breadth of our community.
  • We are open to feedback before, during and after the event and committed to learning and improving.

A Shared Responsibility

We ask all attendees to treat one another with respect and openness. Listen, be kind, stay curious. If something causes concern, please speak to a member of the team. What Others have said

Since 2024, Wild Brains retreats have brought together dozens of neurodivergent entrepreneurs, changemakers, and creatives. Here’s what they had to say:

I feel like I can be myself here.

I never knew how much l needed a week away from work to think about my work.

This was a truly fantastic experience for me. It meant the world to me to be inspired and listen to things that are so relatable.

My nervous system was just calm this week.

The first time in my life that I didn't care what people thought about me.

People were so respectful of each other and made sure everyone felt comfortable.

I wish I could bottle this feeling.

There is a sense of acceptance here that has enabled me to believe in my own acceptability.

I've had conversations that I've never had before, a different level and ease of communication that l've never felt elsewhere.

Ready to join us?

Imagine leaving The Assembly with new friends who get you, feeling pumped up with ideas, and a clear vision for your business that actually works for your brain.

This isn’t just a retreat — it’s a chance to step back from the daily grind, reset, and return home with fresh perspective, actionable ideas, and the energy to move your business forward with confidence.
